WHAT IS THE RPSA OUTREACH PROGRAM?
Purpose:
The purpose of the RPSA Outreach Program is to help adults, parents and youth reach academic and individual goals by providing assistance in schools and the community. The Outreach program offers a way for the youth to have many individual needs supported and addressed. RPSA also offers parents a chance too keep their child active not only academically, but physically and socially as well.
Introduction:
Adults and parents of students who wish to participate in the RPSA Outreach Program are advised to contact the organization for the service they are interested in from the program, preferably via email on the Contact Us page of this site. They will need to specify if they would like to join the Outreach program, the youth athletics program(s) or both. Once we receive the request we will contact the person and conduct a brief over the phone interview with the adult. Based on the qualifications and request(s) of the interested party, a face to face meeting will be initiated with the adult at a local school or home.
Outreach Program:
Parents and Students will fill out a form requesting access too the services they need that we offer.
After the application process is complete, the adult/student will be placed in their respective program and be assigned to the service that they requesting. If they are interested in one of the Outreach program needs they will be assigned a Case Manager. The Case Manager and parent will go over the need(s) of the student and what the overall goals are. We will continue to provide support and service as long as the parent and the students feel there is a need for our services.
Youth can be involved from K-12th grade. Adults 18 and older will be able too receive help in employment referral and community service help.
